Once a lush tropical escape from the city this garden is now an organized and defined experience. The overall experience is a hybrid between an old courtyard and a French parterre garden. The spaces are defined by manicured boxwood hedges and the pathways are crushed granite. The removal of a few trees allowed for a new pool and a completely different garden in the rear. This will allow for larger parties and take entertaining to a new level. These gardens that are tucked away all over New Orleans are truly marvelous. |
